Nine Hundred Days in Nine Minutes

Well, we may be jumping the gun a little bit on this with regards to telling the story of all the places we’ve managed to travel through so far, but we felt it’s timely considering all that’s going on in the world. We put together a 9-minute slideshow for the 9 Minute Moto Film Festival back in May and thought it’s about time we shared it. It’s Nine Hundred Days in Nine Minutes – so we had to skip Asia, but we’ll get to that next time! Hope you enjoy it… and feel free to share it with your friends!

We’ll be back to posting regular stories this month – it’s been an incredibly busy time, with articles in Overland MagazineRoad Trip Magazine (France), and even a small story featuring our website in MotorradABENTEUER. Then there was an interview for the feature-length documentary “Somewhere Else Tomorrow” by filmmaker Daniel Rintz, and we had a story included in Jeremy Kroeker’s anthology “Motorcycle Messengers” which hit the shelves in July.

To top it all off, we’re honoured to have been selected as Jupiters Travellers by the Ted Simon Foundation in May of 2015.

So that’s a roundabout way of saying sorry for being a little absent on the site for the past few months, but we’re back and excited to keep telling our story! Thanks for sticking with us.

About

I’m a Canadian writer, adventure motorcyclist and world traveller of British and Libyan descent. I’ve spent the past two and a half years travelling the globe by motorcycle as one-half of We Love Motogeo, following a route that makes little sense to anyone else, while supporting our non-profit organization, the Lost for Good Project. I’ve been chased by all manner of animal, detained as a spy in North Africa and waited out a hurricane in the bowels of a ferry. While I’m no spy (honestly), I am a lover of decent coffee and great yarns sewn around a campfire.

    Hi Issa and Nita
I came across your interview on Adventure Rider Radio. Nice to hear your voices after following your story for so long…where the prose and pics sing such a harmonious tune! You guys have it together! Enjoyed hearing your explanation of why….why not! Inspiring and what better way to discover places and people. All the best with your plans to follow the ‘gringo trail’!! I will stay tuned for sure !

      Hi Vic!

Great to hear from you :) Glad to hear you came across the interview – it just went live last week. We were SO nervous but finally got around to listening to it ourselves yesterday! It’s hard listening to yourself speak – but we love sharing ideas and experiences in the hopes that someone will find it useful or inspiring… the next story is nearly done and the next chapter is unfolding – thanks so much for following along with us for so long! We may be heading your way in the summer – will send a note when we’re underway :) We hope you’re doing SO well!
